You're Invited: Can I Trust the Bible? (Part 2)

We live in a world where people question the Bible more than ever.
With so much information online, we need more than just feelings to defend our faith—we need facts. While faith is personal, truth doesn’t change.
Jesus didn’t just perform miracles—He also answered tough questions from religious leaders like the Pharisees and Sadducees with wisdom and truth.
Paul did the same when he spoke to the philosophers in Athens. Instead of using miracles, he used reason to explain who God is. Their examples show us that sometimes the best way to share our faith is by using knowledge and truth.
The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 3:15:
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear."
A careful examination of this Scripture shows that the text refers to a reasoned argument or explanation, not just an emotional appeal. Therefore, facts and personal testimony together create a spiritually strong Christian, ready to confidently defend the hope within them.
With social media and AI making it easier than ever—for even children— to explore different beliefs, being prepared to give a ready defense for what you believe is crucial.
Thankfully, the same God who gave us minds to reason and ask questions also provided facts and evidence to confirm that the Bible can be trusted.
